Sweet Escapes Vacation Co. started with one simple idea: planning travel should feel fun, personal, and stress-free — not confusing, overwhelming, or like you’ve just been handed a homework assignment. As a husband-and-wife, veteran-owned team, we’ve always believed in doing things the right way: with honesty, heart, and real human connection.
After years of traveling together — cruising Alaska, exploring Europe, diving into Disney magic, and discovering new places one snack at a time — we realized that the best trips come from real-world experience, not guesswork. So we built a travel agency that blends Rena’s calm, detailed planning style with Wayne’s system-focused, behind-the-scenes magic.
We don’t run a call center.
We don’t pass you to random agents.

Rena is the friendly voice, calm problem-solver, and planning mastermind behind Sweet Escapes Vacation Co. With a passion for exploring new places (and a talent for spotting all the good snacks), she helps travelers turn dream vacations into real life adventures.
Whether she’s mapping out a Disney day that runs smoother than a Dole Whip swirl, arranging “I didn’t even know this existed!” experiences in Europe, or planning once-in-a-lifetime Alaska journeys, Rena brings patience, personality, and true travel-lover energy to every itinerary she designs.
As a U.S. Navy veteran, she believes in honesty, service, and doing things the right way. As a traveler, she values good views, good food, and zero stress. And as your personal travel planner, she’s dedicated to giving you the kind of trip you’ll brag about for years.
Wayne Wollmann – Co-Owner & Behind-the-Scenes Travel Architect
Wayne is the engine room of Sweet Escapes Vacation Co. — the system builder, the problem fixer, and the guy who makes all the “magic behind the curtain” actually work. While Rena is the planner and the creative brain, Wayne keeps the entire operation running smoothly.
From researching new destinations to setting up client tools, building itineraries, organizing vendor info, and optimizing processes, Wayne handles the technical side that makes planning with Sweet Escapes feel easy, fast, and worry-free.
He’s always learning, always improving, and always working to make sure the business is providing the best service possible. Wayne may not be the one picking out your character dining reservation… but he’s absolutely the one making sure everything functions perfectly so you get a seamless travel experience.
As a U.S. Navy veteran, he brings discipline, reliability, and commitment to every detail — and he’s proud to support Rena and the business from behind the scenes. As a lazy traveler he likes to relax and enjoy when on vacation.
